Washi Washi use many kinds of paper, but especially Japanese washi paper carefully handmade and brought home from Japan.
They also work with cotton paper, handmade and acid-free both cold pressed and warm pressed.
Nothing goes to waste and each cut-off and scrap of paper from the making of a relief, are recycled. They process them into new paper pulp, which they can make paper sheets and fragments off.
Their work is a study of form and shapes and an ode to the fibres and possibilities of cellulose.
